Lunch lecture Figo

5G is the next generation for mobile communications. While commercial deployment will still take a few years, field trials are already being undertaken worldwide, also in the Netherlands. Even though 4G already provides smooth mobile Internet, the target for 5G is a threefold challenge. Provide Mobile Broadband, massive Machine Type Communications (IoT) and Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communications. In this Lunch Lecture Frank Brouwer from FIGO will explain the key features and applications of 5G. How does it work, and how will it be used?

FIGO is an R&D company, located in Enschede. Frank Brouwer has an extensive background in mobile communications and in applying the technology in practical applications.
