OVSoftware Lunch Lecture: Software quality and its effect on the economy
Software quality is one of those terms everyone throws around, but what it truly means is to most a vague concept. What's more, most people still do not pay enough attention to it. Features sell. However, as you will likely have already noticed in your own projects, it's easy to get caught up in adding fancy new innovative specialties to your project while ignoring the boring technical debt.
What does software quality mean, what are its effects on the economy, and what can software engineers do about it? Eddie Zeën, operation manager at OVSoftware, will talk about this subject next tuesday on campus from 12.45 to 13.30 in Carré 3C.
Lunch is provided, enrollment not needed.
