Prodrive Technologies is one of the fastest growing high-tech companies in The Netherlands and becoming a critical supplier in the medical, semiconductor, energy and mobility sector. A key characteristic of Prodrive is building components from A-Z, including design, R&D, software and testing, resulting in a highly optimized end product. This has resulted in Prodrive building its own highly optimized internal manufacturing execution system and business software rather than purchasing these from external vendors. This presentation focuses on the next such system, a new shift planning system that provides both highly optimized planning using algorithmic shift scheduling and provides people with flexibility in their work.
