Information evening UT-teachercourse

This Master's is taught in Dutch!

Have you ever considered becoming a secondary school teacher? Discover the UT teacher training during the information evening on Thursday 9 February and find out whether a career in education suits you! From 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, our teachers and students will tell you all about your options for becoming a teacher. With the master's degree in Education and Communication in Science (ECB), you can become a teacher in secondary education and teach subjects such as physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science or research & design (R&D).

Do you also have another master's in mind? This master can often be combined well! For example, if you choose a technical Master's program that matches the subject in which you want to teach, the teacher training will only last one year, instead of two.

In addition, it is also possible to start teacher training as a lateral entrant, so do you know or are you a teacher who is already working in education and would like to obtain his or her (second) first-degree teaching qualification? Or are you interested in switching to education? Lateral entrants obtain their teaching qualification within (maximum) two years, and at the same time already teach (paid) part-time in secondary education, so they learn directly on the job! The teacher training program of the University of Twente offers tailor-made programs for this.

Became curious? Our teachers and students are available during the information evening to answer all your questions. Sign up via: ut.onl/Informatieavond-SEC
