ReadID by Inverid is a solution for identity verification which leverages the NFC chip present in identity documents like passports and identity cards, together with the smartphone in your pocket. This solution however requires native support for NFC hardware. Something currently not available in modern browsers, and thus requires the download and installation of an app from one of the stores. In this talk you will learn more about verifying the data in the NFC chip and how Inverid found a way to do without installing an app.
