Lunch lecture Eijsink: Building POS systems using model-driven software engineering
DISH is an engineering company that provides digital solutions for hospitality businesses throughout Europe that took over Eijsink in 2022. During this lunch lecture, we will show how model-driven software engineering (MDSE) is used at DISH. We will discuss the importance of MDSE, how it can be applied to point of sales (POS) systems and how the approach helps us in ensuring the quality of our software. Specifically, we show how we model an event-driven sales process using JetBrains MPS, how to generate production-ready code and how to validate the modelled process.
Would you like to know more about how they operates? Then be sure to join the lunch lecture where Xander and Jeroen, lead software architect and tech lead at Eijsink, will tell you more.
