Join us for a lunch lecture from TNO. TNO is the Dutch organisation for Applied Scientific Research, founded in 1932 to enable business and government to apply knowledge.

Thijs van der Knaap will share insights from his six years at TNO’s Intelligent Complex System Engineering (ICSE) department, where he has worked on topics like cloud computing, simulation pipelines, and the digitisation of manufacturing and agriculture. He’ll also discuss TNO’s unique position bridging academia and industry, and how his Computing Science studies continue to shape his work.
