The Computer Science programme committee is looking for new student members!

The Computer Science programme committee is looking for new student members! Do you want to have a say in how the Computer Science study is organised and represent the students of the Computer Science Bachelor and Master in any decisions made? Then joining the programme committee might be something for you!

The PC-CS is an advisory committee for the programme director and must be heard on all educational matters. This includes, amongst others, the programmes, study workload, schedules, complaints, and course evaluations. To guard the quality of education, the committee concerns itself with the vision of education, the forms of education, the common thread in the programme, and the feasibility of the programme.

In addition to this, the programme committee gives formal advice about the Teaching and Examination Regulations (TER) every year and advises on other topics, such as new courses and quality of education.

The programme committee meets once every three weeks, on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 12:45. The meetings are in English, and as a member, you must be present at each meeting until the end of the academic year. Most meetings are online, though sometimes held physically at the university. You will be compensated for the work done by the programme committee.

Are you interested in joining the programme committee, or do you have any further questions? Then, contact Lars Kruitwagen at l.y.kruitwagen@student.utwente.nl.
