The Student Union is excited to announce that the nominations for the More Than A Degree Awards 2025 are now open!

These awards celebrate the incredible efforts of students who go the extra mile alongside their studies to make student life at the University of Twente and in Enschede vibrant, inspiring, and impactful.

You can now nominate students, teams, events or boards for one of the following categories:

• Active Student of the Year

• Entrepreneurial Idea of the Year

• Full-time Board of the Year

• Part-time Board of the Year

• Event of the Year

• NEW: Sports or Culture Performance of the Year

The new category shines a spotlight on students who have achieved something outstanding in the fields of sport or culture – whether individually or as a team.

You’re welcome to nominate anyone who fits the bill – from your own board, association, or another inspiring student you’ve worked with.

Also, please encourage others to submit nominations. There are even some prizes in store for the winners.
