During the General Members Meeting of the 1st of September 2026, it has been decided to proclaim Jelle Maas a Member of Merit.

Six years ago, Jelle Maas started his board year as chairman of the 42nd board of I.C.T.S.V. Inter-Actief, right in the middle of the COVID pandemic. Before that, he was already active as chairman of the FlitCie, now known as the MedIA, and organiser of the RIAlly, later joining larger committees like Pandora, Kick-IT, EEMCS Trip, Study Tour committee, and the International Business Course.

His activism didn't stop after his board year. He kept helping where he could, assisting new Pandora committees, joining the Fix-IT to explore alternatives for the Kick-In camp, supporting the Committee of External Affairs in 2024, editing the I/O Vivat for two years, and keeping an eye on board work-life balance through the Workload Taskforce.

Summed up, Jelle has been an essential part of Inter-Actief for years, always approachable and constructive with his advice, doing so tirelessly for over five years, even to members who barely knew him.
