Excursion: Voortman Steel Group

Join the company visit to Voortman Steel Group and discover how you can use your expertise in IT to work on some of the most complex projects in steel.

Seeing ground-breaking ideas become a reality, it sounds nice but it really does happen at Voortman Steel Machinery, part of the Voortman Steel Group. We make the most innovative machinery and product lines for the steel construction and plate-processing industry for customers around the world. Within our sector we want to be a leading player in the field of automation.

At the start of this company visit, you will be met with some coffee or tea. Around 14:00 a presentation will be held about the software development part of Voortman Steel Group. Once this is finished, we will have a tour of the company floors. As Voortman Steel Group is spread out amongst several buildings, we will see a lot of different parts of the factory. Then at the end, a small drink will be held at the site which offers you a nice opportunity to talk with some of the employees. At 16:45 we will make the tour back home again.
