Symposium Hype Drink

After a well-deserved Christmas break, the symposium committee is back to working on Symposium Hephaestus. However, we have a little trouble re-adjusting to the workload after two relaxing weeks, so what better way to get back in the workflow than organizing a drink? The ticket sale for the symposium has already started, so if we convince you to join, you can immediately get a ticket! What is a symposium?

The symposium is an event where conferential talks are held discussing a specific topic. The talks are given by companies and researchers in the sector. In between the presentations, you have a chance to approach companies and get an insight into their work. The symposium brings together students and professionals and provides the foundations for future collaborations in the form of employment opportunities, internships or graduate theses.

Symposium Hephaestus will inform about robotics and machines and what role computer science plays. Machines are becoming more and more advanced by the day, which also means that the software running them becomes more complicated. We would like to give insight on the importance of IT in this field and inspire students to think about how they can use their IT knowledge to change the world for the better.
